Cards will be dealt after the player has bet, this is the rule of Blackjack. Most online casinos in Singapore and offline, each player will be divided by the dealer for two cards, maybe one face down and 1 face up. Such a table will have 8 players for a round of betting, the game will rotate clockwise. So if you are the player sitting near the dealer, you may be the first player.
Players should remember that, for online Blackjack only, players are only allowed to bet with the dealer, so each player must play their best before the turn of others. After receiving two cards from the dealer, the player is required to make the following decisions:
Hit/ Stand
If the player decides to continue, ask the dealer for one more card. For the online version, players can add card numbers until they are satisfied with a total score not exceeding 21.
If the player chooses to “stand”, he or she is satisfied with the value in hand and there is no need for an additional card. In the Singapore casino online versions, players will have two buttons to choose from, Hit and Stand. Depending on what the player’s needs are, they click the button.
Surrender
This is when the player wants to withdraw from the original bet. If the player decides to surrender, that means he lost and only lost half of the original bet. Surrender can only occur before executing any other player options. For example, once a player has either split or duplicated, it is impossible to choose to surrender.
Surrender is also divided into two categories: early surrender and late surrender. In Blackjack online, players can be surrendered early. That is, before the dealer tests the player’s card, they are allowed to surrender. However, for a late surrendering game, the dealer checks his own card number, and if the card number value is 21 then the player cannot surrender. This option is mostly not offered at Singapore casinos.
Insurance
If the dealer goes to an Ace card, the player is offered a betting option to the dealer down to the value of 10. Half of the original players are limited to participating in insurance bets. In online casinos, when players want to place a bet, they will press the button available on the screen and select the Pass button to continue playing cards.
If the house owns 21 naturally, players should bet 2: 1. If the player also gets 21 naturally, they lose the original bet but break even with the insurance bet. This is why calling it an insurance bet because it protects the original betting player with the dealer that owns 21 naturally. However, if the dealer is not 21 naturally, the player loses the insurance bet and must continue to play the card.
Double Down
This is an opportunity to help players increase the initial bet after the first two cards are dealt. The player may increase the initial bet amount to any amount if the player believes that his first two cards have a high chance of winning. After making a decision to double the amount, the player is limited to an additional card, meaning that the player can only play once after doubling the number of bets.
Even Money
Although it carries a different name, if the player achieves 21 naturally, even bet and insurance bet are no different. If the dealer owns Ace and the player reaches 21 naturally, the player can bet even money to insure the dealer.
For example: players initially bet $ 40 and after dealing the cards, the player has a natural 21, which means that the player wins $ 60 Singapore. Unless the house also holds 21 naturally, players have the option to bet even money. Even money bet limits the player who loses when the house also has 21 naturally. Suppose the dealer owns Ace and the player places an even bet on the entire $ 20 and half of the original bet. When the dealer’s card value is revealed, there are two cases:
- The dealer does not own 21 naturally and the player wins $ 60, but even $ 20 even money bets lose.
- The dealer holds 21 naturally and the player wins $ 20 in bets insuring the original bets push and nobody wins.
